This “Pop” festival is open to all levels and is a non-competitive event. Popular music through the ages is considered music that is “of its time”. This music may include; jazz, improvisation, folk, rock ‘n’ roll, 20th & 21st century composers like Melody Bober. This year, the pop festival will again sponsor a fund-raising event to raise money for lessons for disadvantaged students in North County. We are also raising money to support a north county elementary school’s music program. We are asking all teachers to fund-raise for this event within their studios. Please see links for more information.
